Withdrawal of Manuscripts

Withdrawal before publication

Authors may withdraw their manuscript from Wiyata: Journal of Multidisciplinary Research at any stage before it is published: initial screening, peer review, revision, or after acceptance. Withdrawal after acceptance should only happen for strong reasons, since editors and reviewers have already invested time in the manuscript.

Withdrawal procedure

  1. The corresponding author sends a written withdrawal request to the editor through the system or the editorial email ([email protected]), stating the manuscript title, submission number, and the reason for withdrawal.
  2. The request must be agreed by all authors.
  3. The withdrawal takes effect once the editor confirms it in writing. Until then the manuscript remains under consideration at Wiyata: Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and must not be submitted to another journal.

The editor may return or reject a manuscript before publication if a breach of publication ethics is found, such as plagiarism or duplicate submission. Such cases are handled under the Publication Ethics policy.

After publication

A published article cannot be withdrawn at the author's request. Errors or problems in published articles are handled under the Corrections & Retractions policy.
